  They take forever to call you in and do everything they need to do. My daughter and I got here at 1:45pm and it is 2:30 and we still haven't been called after our appointment was set a month ago for 2pm. The receptionist is dry, no smile, she talks to you like I should know better although she is the one in this business and know obviously more then patients. She is rude, and not pleasant to work and see her every time you come to this place. The quality of the cleaning and work on your teeth is good but horrible customer service. Poor management because I know I'm not the only with about the same complaints.

  HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE at the Sugarland Southern Dental. My son had a 9am appointment but we weren't acknowledged until 25 minutes later and was not called to go back for another 40 minutes. This just set the tone for what was to come. After a brief examination of my son's teeth I'm told that my son needs a special cleaning which would cost an additional $169. I refused the service and asked for a regular cleaning and was told by the hygienist, the "manager", and the doctor that my 10 year old son could not get a regular cleaning; he could only get a polish unless I pay the additional cost. That's when I remembered that I had the same experience with them some years ago. I was told I needed a deep cleaning. I can't remember how much it cost but I remember believing them and paying the extra hundreds of dollars to only get a additional mouthwash as part of my "deep cleaning". I left feeling cheated and vowed never to come back there again. Now many years later, there is different personnel but they are still charging extra for what other dentists do as part of the normal service. I refused to pay this time and they refused to give my son a cleaning. I didn't leave this time feeling cheated. I just wasted 3 hours of my time for nothing. They promised to refund my copay and don't charge my insurance. Crossing my fingers that this actually happens. If I could rate them less that a one star I would. BEWARE!
